IDB Pensions Week 2023, Washington D.C.
In June 2023, pinBox partnered with the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and Novaster to co-host a high-level dialogue on inclusive pensions during the 10th edition of IDB Pensions Week in Washington, D.C. This event brought together regional pension authorities and regulators to share insights and institutional strategies to strengthen retirement systems across Latin America and the Caribbean. The event served as a milestone in advancing inclusive, technology-enabled long-term savings systems for underserved populations.
Book Launch: Pensions for All – Proposals for a More Inclusive Pension System in Latin America
As part of its regional engagement, we collaborated with 45 leading experts, policymakers, and practitioners to produce a groundbreaking volume titled Pensions for All: Proposals for a More Inclusive Pension System in Latin America. Co-edited by Dr. David Tuesta and Gautam Bhardwaj, the book was formally released during IDB Pensions Week 2023. This volume presents innovative, practical solutions to overcome key demand and supply-side challenges in delivering sustainable, voluntary pension and insurance coverage to informal sector workers in the region. It is a vital resource for fostering shared learning and collaborative action toward universal pension inclusion in Latin America and the Caribbean.
